The development environment allows you to implement your own firmware modules. These can be run within CryptoServer hardware security modules. The Utimaco CryptoServer SDK base firmware enables the development of security products that require FIPS 140-2 Level 3 or 4.

As the SDK provides full access to the Utimaco base firmware, you can develop custom firmware modules in a very short period of time. The SDK includes the HSM simulator to facilitate firmware testing. Some of the features are:
